Restyle the piece you already have

A restyle means you keep the pot your arrangement is already in and I rebuild what's planted in it. You keep the pot, the stems change, so the piece suits the season instead of looking the same all year.

I'm Kaili, and I make faux floral arrangements by hand in my Toronto studio. If you have a piece of mine at home, I can restyle it for autumn. And it doesn't have to be one of mine. If you have a pot you love, whatever is in it now, I can rebuild the arrangement in it.

Email me a photo of your piece and I'll send you a price.

Faux hydrangeas arranged in a vintage bowl

One of my pieces in a vintage bowl. A restyle keeps the pot and changes what is in it.

What it costs

  • Seasonal stem swap, $150 plus HST. Same pot, same base, a handful of stems swapped or added for the season. Most tabletop pots fall in this range.
  • Restyle, $250 plus HST. Same pot, everything in it replaced.
  • Large restyle, $350 plus HST. Same pot, everything replaced, for a large bowl or a floor piece.

Most pieces come in at $250. Autumn usually means warmer tones and drier textures, and I'll suggest a direction once I've seen the photo.

You already own the part that is hardest to find, so you're paying for the stems and the work rather than for another pot.

One more thing: if you send someone my way and they commission a piece, I'll put $100 credit toward your next piece.

How to start

  1. Send me a photo of the piece as it looks now, at sales@orderflora.com. A photo from your phone is fine, there's no need to write much. I usually reply within a day.
  2. I come back with a close number based on the photo.
  3. The final price is confirmed once the pot is with me and I can see what's involved. If it's going to be more than I quoted, I'll tell you before I start and you can say no.

Some pots are glued or set solid inside and can't be replanted. If yours is one of those, I'll tell you before I start.

Getting the pot to me

  • The easiest way is to drop the pot off to me and pick it up when it's ready. I'll send you the address when we book it in.
  • If that's tricky I can collect it and bring it back, for a small fee depending where you are. I'll give you the number when we book it in.
  • It's usually about a week from when I have the pot.
  • If you'd like it done for autumn, I'd need the pot with me by mid-September.
  • Payment when you collect, e-transfer or card.
